NO THREAT AT MGMS
Dear Raymondville ISD Community: Earlier today, a
student at Myra Green Middle School made a threat involving the use of a gun.
Students reported this to the principal, who immediately removed the student
from class and notified appropriate authorities. At no point was there a gun on
school grounds.
The purpose of this message is to inform the community of this incident and to assure students, parents, and staff that there is no ongoing threat. The incident was isolated and handled immediately. The campus administration and Raymondville ISD Police are working together to assure that the campus continues to be a safe learning environment.
