Talking About School Safety
As our nation mourns the tragic event in Florida, I would like to issue this brief statement to our community.
At Raymondville ISD, safety is our top priority. I want to assure you that we will take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of our students and staff. As a preliminary measure, I ask that you speak to your children about making inappropriate comments that may be interpreted as a threat. We will not take any threat lightly, therefore, any statement that could be considered a threat will be reported to the Raymondville ISD Police Department for further investigation.
