DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP: A TOP PRIORITY AT RISD

As we approach the start of a new school year, I want to remind you about the importance of digital citizenship.  In recent years, we have all seen the reports of young people sharing inappropriate messages and photos through social media or messaging apps. 

The district proactively teaches students the importance of digital citizenship, and we encourage parents to monitor their child’s social media posts and messaging apps.  We ask you to report inappropriate content to local law enforcement and/or Raymondville ISD Police Department. School administration and campus police will actively investigate all reports.  The safety of all students remains our top priority.
